Carrbridge is a picturesque village located in Strathspey beneath the Monadhliath (Gray) Mountains. A village with local character, excellent access to the surrounding countryside, it's wildlife and many outdoor sporting activities. Less busy than Aviemore which is six miles south, but as good a location to explore the Highlands. Carrbridge is within the Cairngorm National Park. Foot & Cycle: National Cycle Route 7 (Glasgow to Inverness) passes through Carrbridge (½ mile). Bruach is on the 'off road' Route 7 to Slochd via Sluggan bridge. Turn up Station Road in village centre next to old bridge (opposite Spar shop). ½ mile, on RHS before left turnoff to station, and before passing under railway line. Air: Inverness Airport which is located at Dalcross, 10 miles to the east of Inverness close to the A96 Inverness-Aberdeen trunk road.
